Weekly $10 Publix Shopping List Using Only Printable Coupons

10/28 $9.70 Shopping List October 28, 2010

Filed under: Uncategorized — Angela @ 11:13 pm
Sorry so late…here’s the latest and greatest for Publix. I’m so tired I’m doing a technicolor email to keep me awake 🙂 To find the printable coupons, go to one of these coupon look-up thingies: click or click.  And the Publix ad with additional match-ups can be found here.  The ad starts on Thursday. Also on Thursday is the weekly penny item and you can only get it on Thursdays.  Some stores require the coupon in the paper to get it, so just ask customer service when you walk into the store if they require it.  This Thursday’s Penny item is Publix Peanut Butter (although some stores like to change it to something different if they run out). You have to spend $10 before coupons to qualify.

Quick Start Guide for my new people 🙂
Publix will stack one manuf. and one store or competitor’s coupon (ask who they consider a competitor)
Publix doubles manufacturer coupons $0.50 or under (some cashiers double store and competitor, but don’t count on it)
Publix allows overage (if you have a $1 off coupon but the item is only $0.75, it will still take off $1)
Publix does rain checks if they are out of an item
Free pasta this week 🙂  Total for this week is $9.70.

10/7 $12.17 Publix Shopping List October 6, 2010

Filed under: Uncategorized — Angela @ 11:15 am

Alright, here’s the beginner version of the grocery bill thing. Click the link below to see the Publix weekly ad that starts tomorrow w/ the links to printable coupons. To make the most of this, you need to know how the BOGOs work. Say a $2 item is on BOGO. That means you can buy one and just pay $1. You do not have to buy 2 to get the BOGO.  Also, $0.50 or less coupons double, you can use a manufacturers coupon and a Publix coupon together, and Publix accepts competitor coupons (they count as a store coupon). Publix has a bunch of store coupon flyers in the round thingey in the cart area—if you can’t find them there, ask at customer service.

http://www.southernsavers.com/2010/10/publix-weekly-ad-106-1012-or-107-1013/

I’m assuming you don’t have any newspaper coupons, so I’ll list only the things that have printable coupons:

-Ball Park franks w/ $0.75 printable coupon: $0.74 ea

-16 oz Hidden Valley Ranch Dressing w/ $2 printable coupon: FREE!!

-Ronzoni Pasta w/ $0.55 printable coupon: $0.14 ea

-Progresso Bread Crumbs w/ $0.50 printable (dbls to $1): FREE!!

-Right Guard Sport Antiperspirant & Deodorant, 2.8-3 oz w/ $3/2 printable: FREE!! (must buy two with this coupon)

-Lysol Disinfectant Trigger Spray Cleaner, 32 oz., or Antibacterial Kitchen Citrus Scent, 22 oz w/ $0.50 printable (dbls): $0.34

-Boston Market Home Style Meals, 10-16 oz w/ $1/3 printable: $1.66 (must buy 3 with this coupon)

-Totino’s Crisp Crust Party Pizza, 9.8-10.9 oz w/ $1/5 printable: $0.80 (must buy 5)

-Campbell’s Chunky Soup, 18.6-19 oz w/ $0.50 printable: $0.29 ea

-John Frieda Hair Products, 4-12 oz w/ $2 printable: $0.69 ea

-Cottonelle Toilet Paper, 12-roll pkg w/ $0.50 printable: $4.99 (good price for this TP—it’s the only kind I use J)

Advantage deals have store coupons found in the Advantage deal flyer in the round thingey in the cart area:

-Robitussin 4 oz., $3.99 – Publix coupon for $2 off – $1 off printable Manufacturer coupon = $0.99

-Benadryl 24 ct., $3.75 – $4/2 printable – $2 publix coupon = FREE!! (must buy two)

So if you buy just the listed amounts for each item above, you would only spend $17.16. If you didn’t buy the TP, you’d only spend $12.17. And you would get:

1 ball park frank (go to Kroger for their $1 buns)

2 ranch dressing (you can only print a max of 2 coupons per item on most coupon websites)

1 ronzoni pasta (but how can you buy just one at $0.14??)

2 Progresso Bread crumbs (great for breaded chicken and pork or making meatloaf and meatballs)

4 Right Guard Deoderants (Umm, stocking stuffer for Christian? LOL)

1 Lysol

3 Boston Market refrigerated meals

5 Totinos Party Pizzas

1 Campbell’s Chunky Soup (again, how can you buy just one?)

1 John Frieda hair product

1 Robitussin

4 Benedryls

26 items/$12.17 = less than $0.50 per item.  I know there’s not much to make a meal, but give it a couple of weeks and start buying the Sunday paper for the coupons. I’ve got pasta and hamburger helper out the ass and enough meat in my freezer to feed a small army. I’ve even got a couple of cartons of milk  in the freezer because I got them for free.  I can completely skip grocery shopping this week if I wanted to and still have enough food for two weeks (or more) worth of meals. The whole thinking behind “couponing” is stockpiling. Honestly, this list, plus the feta and canned tomatoes BOGOs is my complete shopping list for this week.  I might end up getting chicken breasts and bread from Kroger because they’ve got the best low price for non-sale items, but that’s about as much as I do at Kroger nowadays. I haven’t gotten the $100 gas discount at Kroger in a month or two LOL.

BTW, look here for the current Publix ad: http://www.southernsavers.com/2010/09/publix-weekly-ad-929-105-or-930-106/

The first thing listed is the Old El Paso kits w/ the link to the coupon. Stock up since they don’t expire (not any time soon anyways). Also, hamburger helper has a couple of printables to make them $0.49 each, Shedd’s Country Crock butter is $0.14 after coupons, and free Softsoap after coupons. The softsoap is listed as $1.99 on southernsavers, but I found some in the store that were $0.99, so the doubled $0.50 off coupon made it free.
