Free At Publix This Week

Happy Cinco! Sorry about not posting yesterday; after my laptop gave me the “blue screen of death” at 10p, I decided to call it a night and I started over again today 🙂 Btw, don’t forget to Like Couponing Lite on Facebook to be in the know when these things happen.

I am so thrilled that there is FINALLY a new Publix ad! I had some major shopping withdrawal symptoms going on. But it was well worth the wait! Not only will you get paid $0.40 to shop, but Publix is also having the perfect promotion to counteract our high gas prices: $10 off a $50 gas card for spending $25 in groceries! You need the coupon for the gas card and you can find it in the Publix weekly ad.

Since you all know I love my math, here’s a breakdown of how good a deal this card is:
If gas is $4/gal, you can get 12.5 gallons out of the $50 gas card. But you only spent $40 on the card, so $40.00/12.5 =  $3.20 per gallon. Not too shabby!

Now about this week’s list: You’ll be purchasing 26 items for a grand total of negative $0.40! If you had bought each item at regular price, you’re total would have been $61.98; you’re saving 101%!!

I went to Publix today and couldn’t find the Phazyme or Sominex at this price. Do you know if they are in a different area of the store than with the large packs?

    • Freckles Says:

At my store they are right next to each other. Try asking your pharmacist next time you’re in the store. They have a good grasp of where things are usually shelved.

  3. Veronica Says:

Where do you get the Green Advantage Flyer?? I couldn’t find it at my Publix!

    • Freckles Says:

At my store they are on a turn-style in the “lobby” area (where the carts are). If you can’t find any, ask customer service–they’re always happy to point them out!

      • vERONICA Says:

I asked at my Publix and they had no idea what I was talking about! Does anyone have any extras they can mail me?? Please!

  4. KC Runner Says:
