Great Vtech Toy Deal at Babies R Us and Toys R Us (online, too!) April 21, 2011

Filed under: Other deals — Angela @ 6:00 pm

I have got to tell you about a GREAT deal that you need to take advantage of if you have kids under 5 that you’re shopping for.  I hinted at this on my facebook page earlier today: right now at Babies R Us and Toys R Us, they’re having a B1G1 sale on all their Vtech toys. There are also coupons out there right now for $5 off one $19.99+ Vtech toy. That means, you can buy 2 Vtech toys at $19.99 (total for 2 = $39.98) and then use one $5 coupon for each (new total = $29.98) and then Babies/Toys R Us will take off an additional $19.99 because of the B1G1 sale, making your grand total for two $19.99 toys only $9.99! FYI–they’re doing this same deal online, but you’ll have to pay shipping.  Use code vtech41711  at checkout to get $5 off a $19.99+ Vtech toy purchase.

There are a couple of ways to get these coupons–either from the 4/10 or 4/17 Smart Source Inserts that come with your Sunday paper or get the printables here and here. This sale is going until May 23rd (I believe).

Here’s what I bought:

Learning Fun Toolbox @ $19.99

Touch and Teach Turtle @ $19.99

Count and Learn School Bus @ $19.99

Alphabet Apple @ $19.99

Sing and Count Fish @ $9.99

Splash and Learn Duck @ $9.99

I spent $30 on $100 worth of toys! Now, the last two I didn’t have a coupon for, but we have a water play themed Easter basket that we’re putting together for my daughter so I went ahead and picked them up since it was such a great deal. I would have loved to have bought the Musical Bubbles Octopus instead of the Alphabet Apple, but they were out at both Toys R Us and Babies R Us near me. Oh well, at least the apple is something that I can save for her Christmas present 🙂

Today’s Groupon for Atlanta is one of my favorites–$5 for a $10 Bruster’s Gift Certificate! If you snagged a $5 sign-up bonus (no longer offered) you could get it for free!

$2/1 Silk Coupon! March 21, 2011

I received a few emails/comments from some of you who couldn’t find the Publix coupon for the Silk on sale for $2.50 this week at Publix. I have good news!  If you go to, you’ll be offered a $2/1 carton of Silk right after registering! All you have to do is complete a (very) short survey. After recently finding out I’ve got a milk allergy, this was the perfect way for me to try out new options 🙂

Also, for those of you that were able to find the Publix coupon–this makes for FREE milk with great overage!

Target Beauty Bag

Hi all! I heard about a deal that was just too good to pass up: a free beauty bag full of samples from Target! The ad says that you will get free samples and $25 worth of savings in a designer bag!

Note: There are limited quantities available, and you’re only allowed 1 per household.

Cheap Deodorant :) March 4, 2011

Filed under: Other deals — Angela @ 4:48 pm

Head on over to and snag a $2/1 Dove Men+Care Antiperspirant or Deodorant Coupon and then make your way to and print off a $1/1 Dove Deodorant: Body Mist, Deodorant or Men+Care. It’s priced at $3.50 right now at Publix which will make it $0.50, or just wait to see if it goes on a super sale anytime soon (my Target printable expires on March 13th).  The  coupon says to redeem at Walmart, but it is a Manufacturer coupon so you can redeem it at Publix and stack it with a store or competitor coupon without a problem.
